Cool! When's that then? Or do you mean you live there all year round?!

Vienna - toally with you on the motorway thing. Why does Ibiza need a motorway!? Getting everywhere at a laid-back pace (then dancing like a madman/woman all night ;) ) is part of what makes it special!

Hurrah! Finally got off my arse & booked flights, 10th-17th.

Right, which clubs when then?! :D
Cream on Thursday and maybe a sneaky Cocoon on the Monday, but then Pacha has to be done at some point. And the terrace on El Divino is calling me...

And this year we're visiting a posh restaurant or two (or that's the idea)... So much to do, so little time...

OFFICIAL OVER 30's CLUB

C'mon, let this now become the spot for those of the 30-ish trend to come together and mix with anyone who wants to know us. The place to find faces to meet in Ibiza who have that more relaxed approach to life and a broader understanding of the essences to be mined from the trip to the White Isle.

Clubbers, bon viveurs, the lot.

(Hey have you seen the private island off Ibiza - rents out at £100,000 a week, i kid you not, 12 beds , 2 boats the works)

Im off in early July 2006 (to somewhere more modest) and it would be just fine to kick back and meet some of the posters here if poss. Im not that scarey!

We’ve recently returned from our second visit this year (house hunting with young kids , school visits etc = no clubbing unfortunately ! ) with a serious eye on buying a particular property as a permanent home with a guest outbuilding .

We know the score when it comes to the scene so my general question is, (particularly for the older \ “discerning” clubber , sounds sh*te and shameless market research I know ! ) - How many of you would be interested in staying somewhere that is rural Ibiza with an “away from it all" atmosphere during the day, in a one bedroom \ + one pull down (sleeps say 4 ) guest "mini finca" with shared pool , away from the crowds but not far from village with decent restaurants and a small taxi ride \ away from the big venues and beaches , say with airport transfers , local knowledge thrown in.

Is this the sort of thing people might go for ?or at the end of the day , do people still want to see the goings on in the West End and IB town most nights before hitting the clubs ?

Tomorrow - UK 14 and chilly , Ibiza 23 and chilling !

Sounds ok to me, although 4 seems a little on the small side - it's always more fun to go in slightly larger groups (unless they all fall out :? ).

Stayed in a villa near San José which was cool - a little bit more money for taxis into Ibiza town & PDB - but with hire cars for the old beach trip etc. it was excellent. (And if you've got enough cars between a group, you can always leave one for the next day at your chosen venue - yes that was mine in Space carpark at 6 the next evening...)

Mini Finca

Sounds ideal, but so longa s its not too cramped. I cant stand places where you pack in 3 to a room, unhygenic!. Single travellers love places like that too and since they end up paying double anyway it could be ideal and better value for money. You will soon get a following, esp if there is space to bring a few new friends to visit without any rigmarole. How much are you looking for per week?

More people want to go to a great restaurant first , at east I do. Bar sesh is all wel and good but when you realise you just cant get spangly every night you plan your hols more carefully, and take the view its all there if you want it.

V interested in this, sounds ideal.

O the joy to find out that everyone in Ibiza will not be under 21!!! Myself (29)& friend (34) will be going back in September, cant wait. Went 7 years ago, (we met in Ibiza!) & didnt get get to do any of the clubs. Older & wiser this time, gonna party like an 18 year old!!! (Ha!! I wish!!!)

Tripehound for club president !

Hi tripehound ,
At last i have found a thread that makes me feel like i dont have to hide my age !!! I have done things the other way around than most of you . I did the marraige bit and kids first , and now i am going to do some of the things i want .ha ha !I thought if i am going to do it then i might as well do it BIG ! My first night EVER in a big club will be my 52nd birthday at the SPACE opening night .And at least i know now of one guy who is older than me !(scousejohn )sorry about that John ! .LOL. I wish i had found the Forum earlier because i have booked accom in San an and by what you guys are saying i should have gone for the other side of the island , anyway i am going and if any of you are there between the 31st of May and the 7th of June It would be great to meet you and you can give me a crash course in where,s hot and where,s not,and how to get to places etc .
When i get back i will let the "Over thirty club ", know if i survived !

Hi Thanks for the vote!

Its a growing occupation, all those who got hitched up too young or worked too hard are coming out of the woodwork a little later than the rest, or those like me that just cant give it up, and are closet hedonists!

Looks like Im going first week i July for some lounging, partying, clubbing, trips into the hills and noshing all oiled with a shedfull of wine and other stuff.

Im planning for 7th to 16th July and its always fun to have some numbers, even if just to text a pic of the most recent wierd discovery.

Im 39 the following week, im under pressure to give it up when im 40, i'll think about that then!!
