OVER 30!!!

Have just come back from 'beefa' last week. Its great but would like to meet with more zimmer free fogeys like myself. More laid back (and richer) than the incompetent (incontinent?)youths that drag around St Antonio these days.

So basically anyone over 30 would like to get up a decent sort of crew to kick back in July 2006 for a while would be appreciated, to live in comfort and redress the balance (before it really is too late).

I'm surprised you choose to stay(?)/visit San An if you were looking for a more 'mature' clientelle?

Or was this a learning experience?
 
Yeah I know what you mean! I am 29, will be 30 next year. This is will be my 8th time this year, but going with my mum and family friend and her young daughter, so I am asking to meet people to go clubbing with!

All my mates are 24 - 32 but we can never seem to get to arrange anything due to pregnancies, work & family commitments and the odd boyf who feel they have grown out of it (ha ha!), or they just would not go.

I myself would love to go with a group of like minded people next year, so watch this space!

Thing is if you want cheap accom etc than San An is the place, but I personally am fed up with cheapo accom/packages. Boyf and I go a nice place in the Bay a couple of years ago, going out to Santa Eulalia on 27/8 which should be nice.

Also stayed in Cala Llonga too which is also a nice change.
 
I know the feeling s/babe, I am 27 and all my friends are getting married, getting houses or having kids.

And I know what you mean Jai - all my friends have now got married and got kids (good for them :D - bad for me!).

I'm out in Sept with some friends for closing parties, but feel the need to go in Aug too.
 
thats more lkike it. Im errr mid 30s but the vibe is strong. Yes I spose I kick back more and have mixed horizons but this is looking good. I know how you guys feel people get regular and deny the beat within, thats fine for week days but we're all allowed a holiday.

Rather be around Ibiza ot Talamanca for ease I s'pose by St E is OK. Yeah st A is cheap but there's a good reason for that. The Bay puts me right off.

If this works for 2006 Im thinking villa for 2007, then I suppose Im running out of excuses?

No exactly how you feel smokin babe, im going on my own this year im 30 and all my mates are like 'too old' for ibiza now, or they are settled down with kids etc, so I know how u feel, so i just thought this year stuff it im gonna go by meself 8O :D

Good for you, will do likewise next year by the looks of it. But it would be cool to hook up pre party with some folks. Now watch them all come out of the woodwork, 'yeah' i fancy that,' and they'll leave the kids with granny then BOSH!!

As for me iI get lket off the hook for a week every year and we each have our own holidays, it works well that way. More people should try it, that what holidays are for.
 
Im 31 and going out on wed for the third time I'm in the same boat most of my mates are all settled down and don't go clubbing anymore. Going out with two best mates but love to have mates of the same age as me who have the same vibes when it comes to decent dance music and clubbing

I laughed at your "let off the hook" tripehound! A mate of mine gets a very long weekend pass from his wife once a year - for Glasto! And what a year it was - took me a week to recover & wish I could remember more :D Anyone try the Silent Disco?! Bizarre but required :P

Anyway I'm out on the White Isle around 10th Sept, but could easily go earlier & do a double week...
 
Roll on the 28th August when I (32) head to PDB for two weeks of sampling all the island has to offer with my partner in crime (31).

I definitely agree with your 'more laid back and richer' comment tripehound - you need the extra readies to travel about, sample the good restaurants and generally lord about for a fortnight !
 
I'm 29 and certainly don't feel old in Ibiza and most of the people I go with are around the same age. You just need to pick where you stay/where you go etc. I always stay over Figuretes/PDB/Ibiza Town way and generally only go over to San Antonio the once for a sunset at Khumaras. We did go for dinner @ Kasbah afterwards and saw the crowd @ Kanya and Coastline and that did make me feel like I could be some of their mums :lol:

Places like Space, Pacha, bars round Ibiza Town etc def attract a slightly more mature crowd ;)
 
Barbie is right; stay/hang out Ibiza town, PDB & figueretas, alot of mature people. I'm 51 and still going for it.
 
Ibiza town and PDB are the places to be - although I still prefer Amnesia to Pacha (sorry!). We also hired a car for a few days and toured around some of the beaches like Salinas and Cala D'Hort - normally before making it back for Bora Bora early evenings ;)

And Moha I'm impressed with 51! I thought I was bad at 34 - but at least it keeps you thin :D

Moha well thats it, cards on the table, Im 38 (just!) good to see Ive got at least another 10 years before Im setting any records. Hey you arent the guy on the Sant Antonio bus that looks like catweasel are you? Only kidding.
Some folks slob out after 30 others stay in good shape and get better, im the latter fortunately, and I reckon my 50's could be my best decade before reason has to set in!!
 
I'm 35 that's my 9th times in Ibiza this year and that's the first time I go with a group, we will be 19 friends this year 8O !!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D
 
I'm 38 and single for the first time in 18 years, so this is my summer of love.

I'm finding that I have mates my age who just think I'm being a twat clubbing at 38, or mates in their 20's who just can't afford to do the things I want to do.

So I'm fulfilling a lifetime ambition and going to ibiza the first 2 weeks in Sept - alone! But I'm cool with that cos i club alone alot and always meet people and make new friends. Gotta say, I think I feel happier doing this partly cos I get taken for 30 or so most of the time, makes me feel better about being aged!

And if being excited is any indication of age, I'm 15 cos I can't wait. Collected my tickets today and just 3 weeks before I fly. I'm spending most evenings on the net cramming Ibiza information.

Btw, I'm staying in San An Bay cos that's all I could get at the last minute.
