damo - finished my placement now but i worked for a lighting design consultancy up here, had such a fab time and designed some cool stuff, havent i rob? cough cough

start back in october for my final year, shitting it i am to be honest. I got a mate doing annimation in glamorgan, she really loves it.
so will it be easy to get a job do u think?

The last yr for me has been a lot harder and they have been really crap with the timing of projects to add that extra piss take. :( But to be honest I wouldnt be so busy now if I'd actually did some work a couple of months ago instead of sitting on my arse... but hey... we're students!! My course is pretty fun in general though and the staff are pretty cool too. There's only about 200 of us spread over the 3 years so we're a tight knit lil community. :)

Getting a job is going to be a pain in the arse i reckon. The industry is so saturated all the entry level jobs are getting snapped up yet they have crappy hours and salaries. I've got a few contacts though so with a bit of luck I'll worm my way into a studio. Once you've moved away from home u dont wanna go back again so i'm on a mission!!
 
oh yeah indeed.

no plans to go back to ibiza yet. going to mexico in aug for 2 weeks.should b nice.

at least i got another year til i have to start worrying about employment. 8O
 
yep i'm out there for my 21st in aug, cant wait!

I should visit a few more destinations though really, the past few years its only been ibiza so I need to mix things up a bit. I'm sure mexico will rock, look out for my friend speedy gonzalez.. ;)

aye, i'd rather stay at uni really.... i dont care if i'm skint! Goin back to uni 2mora nite actually cos i had 4weeks off for easter... ahh uni hols... soo long and lovely!
