Just had these urgent requests through from our favourite client  - they occasionally make us do this stuff when they're too busy themselves

We have had an urgent request from our favourite client. The son of XXX's Chairman is visiting the UK and EHQ wants to impress him. We have been asked to undertake some research into places he could be taken to. Could you therefore have a quick think about possible places. The criteria are as follows:
1. Be close to London
2. Not swamped with tourists
3. 'A little bit different'
I need any ideas you have by 2.30pm.
In order to motivate you all, Andrew has promised a prize of something like a bottle of champagne or voucher for the person who comes up with the idea that is eventually selected.
All ideas welcome at this stage - Thanks for your help.

And then this one:

He now wants to go shopping….
Could you please e-mail me within the next ten minutes with any suggestions for shops you know of which are:
- highly exclusive
- have a very long London tradition
- perhaps Royal providers etc
- high society clientele
The initial categories we brainstormed were:
1. suits/hats (top hats)
2. hand made shoes
3. art/antiques
4. cars
5. watches/jewelery
Well known places like Harrods are not appropriate as too well known - he is looking for exclusive less well known little finds…
Thank you

I want to be the son of our favourite client sounds like he has a wild time wherever he goes! Can't believe they recruit a consultancy to plan the bosses son's holiday

the son of your fav client sounds like a tw@t if he needs a consultancy to find the right shop in London

I bet he is a complete w*****! I can't believe he said that Harrods was essentially too common and it had to be somewhere with royal connections

the royal connections was the best bit. You should suggest him to get in touch with Erick

BTW, I found Harrods very tacky, to be honest
