After last year's Ibiza debut, I would strongly advise anyone who's in Ibiza then to attend.
 
in related news, today theres a 2-page interview with andy and dawn mckay from manumission in the newspaper el mundo in which they confirm mylo for the anniversary party (another one? :? ) and the bravery..........

.......... plus they also mention 2 many djs, franz ferdinand, basement jaxx and chemical brothers although they dont confirm if these are booked already :!:

in the interview they also talk about the need to bring other music styles to ibiza, about the no-diversity among the clubs, about the lack of extravagant and glamourous people like in the past, about drugs, etc. interesting points of view, as always..........

optimo at manumission last year was one of my highlights, gonna miss it this year though cause im going back over in september, but anyone over at that time should not miss out.

Its just really hard for the lad sorting it all out to get a week that the majority of us can go on....theres Three weddings of good friends in Aug/Sep which is making it a right pita to get things sorted because of stag nights and that as well.... :evil:

Anyway, McRackin, can you post a scan of that article or a link? I'd love to see Mylo again - what date is the anniversary show?

It surprised me last year! :lol:

Thought nothing would prise me away from Cocoon and I had one of the best nights ever.
 
Remembering me saying Im never going again mate and that I was MEGA surprised at you going..


I think I'll might be doing a couple of nights there this year :oops: :lol: ;)

IBIZA ROCKS SOME MORE

THE FUTUREHEADS, FAITHLESS and HARD-FI have joined the expanding line-up for the ’IBIZA ROCKS’ series of gigs set to take place at the island’s MANUMISSION club this summer.

Juliette & The Licks and Goldfrapp have also been booked for the event.

Recently launched by Manumission and The Barfly, ’Ibiza Rocks’ already features a bill including Babyshambles, Kaiser Chiefs and The Bravery.

The Manumission Music Box will open the event on July 22. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are on sale now via manumssion.com or barfly.com.
