Opening weekend flights from the uk

Hi everyone, is it me or are flights this year for the wknd of space and dc10 openings outrageous. I think its bank holiday weekend but the cheapest flight i can find is £218 from Gatwick . i cant remember another year in my last 14 visits to the openings being so pricy.

Try searching for connecting flights via Barcelona or Madrid on the budget airlines - might find it cheaper, albeit with a lil more aggro, doing it that way?

Just had a little look at this myself....flight home can be got for £28, getting out there

This worked a treat, just booking via Barcelona. Spend a night there then over to Ibiza on the Thursday of Openings. Return flights (the basics) just over £100. Love getting end of year bonuses and spending them wisely

Got mine under 2 weeks ago... £85 from Belfast and £50 back to Dublin....
