One Party State continues the implementation of its five year plan... to
provide the best night out for London’s downtrodden workers, at Camden’s
Barfly.
Under threat of exile to the musical gulag, the DJs on both floors have been
ordered to play their best possible sets by our Musical Commissars. There’ll
also be Party Operatives moving through the venue to check that people are
enjoying themselves.
Farm hands and factory workers (and their modern, office-based equivalents)
are all invited... The clubbing Bourgeoisie and their lackeys are not! We
are vehemently anti-socialite!
* UPSTAIRS:
revolutionary, modern guitar music for a utopian future:
[franz ferdinand, bloc party, joy division, kings of leon, pixies, vampire
weekend... you get the idea...]
MIKEY FOUR (Club NME, London)
- Mikey Four is one of three resident DJs at London’s insanely popular Club NME @ Koko. He plays a cutting-edge selection of guitar tracks to an eager crowd between live sets by the buzz bands of the moment. On nights away from there, he can be found at Popstarz and Transmission, not to mention trips abroad to clubs in Madrid, Munich, Essen, Berlin, Barcelona and beyond...
ED WILDER (Corrupt)
- a man with a vision, ed has played at the top of the BT tower and to massive crowds at V Festival 2008... Hes also the regular DJ at the Corrupt nights at Barfly.
* DOWNSTAIRS:
decadent electro 'n' eclectic sounds - new wave to new rave:
THE LOVELY JONJO (Durr)

JOE & WILL ASK
- This duo are the up-and-coming stars of the London electro scene, with gigs & DJ sets in all the right places (Bugged Out, Trailer Trash, Durr, Club NME) and remixes for all the right people. "The Joe & Will Ask mix is amazing! 10/10, merci!" said Vicarious Bliss. "Your sound is amazing!" said the Autokratz. "My favourite producers of the moment" said Brodinski.
ROB CAMPARI SAFARI
- he's been DJing for over two years in many of the coolest places in london
and, formerly, bristol. he runs a few live nights, too, booking the best up
and coming bands and supporting new talent.
