Joy upon joy! Food in the office followed by the Bootleg Beatles at Demonfort Hall!!! And I have a job interview tomorrow - how am I going to get out of that one!! :D :D :D

I've got to organise the post-dinner antics for ours, it's without the directors, thank god, but doubtless will involve me trying to convince everyone that my choice of club and bars is good. Not for a while though

So, did you just now realize that you had an office Xmas party - a month before the holiday, no less - with a bunch of co-workers you supposedly hate? Or did you intentionally schedule your interview for the day after your party? :lol:
 
The agency just rang and said they'd set up an interview - to be honest I probably won't go to the Interview as its quite far out and I can't drive at the min!! I'm dreading this work do - not my thing at all! :(
 
I'm suer the agency will loooooooove you if you cancel out on the first interview they set up for you :? Why can't you drive?
 
I know but I explained situation they can't expect someone in full time work to just drop everything and run off for an interview at a days notice!

I'm scared to drive!!! :(
 
NO!!! I am going to learn to drive eventually and i'll probably be fine - i've just lost a lot of confidence these past couple of years!

Ah, OK.. It's just that, when you wrote that you "couldn't drive at the minute" I got the impression that you could drive in general, but just not right now (for some reason... maybe the car's in the shop or your license was suspended for a bit after that drunk driving arrest)

Now I see that it's not that you can't drive at the minute, you can't drive at all! :lol:

I am 30 and I still don't have driving license :? and I live in Mallorca so I have it a little bit dificult, I have to get it because it's time for it, but I allways find a new excuse. ;)

Christmas parties often start in November and go on til January in England cos there are so many parties going on in December that people get partied-out :lol:

We do have lots of X-mas parties, all of them start on the 12th an ends around NYE, we like to make it difficult :lol: :lol:
