Another vote for John Peel from me,he played EVERY type of music from Roy Orbison to Plastikman and beyond,was hugely influential and helped many legendary artists get started...

If he was on the radio now I would be listening 8)
 
The reason for my choices are

Madonna- because she just keeps going, I was a fan as a small child and even though I don't like her music anymore (Erotica was her last good album) the fact that she's still going strong, re-inventing herself and doing the splits etc well she deserves legend status for having the bum of a teenager

Falgor the luck dragon - Is just the best fantasy character of any film, the most loveable and the one who I would most like to become real

Janice - from the muppets is just cool, look at her

Daft Punk - Speaks for itself!

Prince - another of my childhood icons who's gone a bit kooky but who cares .. his music is all that matters

Mr Freud - Changed society's perception of mental illness amongst many other wonderful things, he has inspired me more than any other well-known person
