well, I quite understand it, and nowadays girlies tend to talk about it, maybe not so much like boys do, but everytime more. I suppose it haves to do with feeling the colours and all that staff. If you watch football match you can see that many girls go to wacth them. 
, I consider one of them even so I do not have the oportunity of watching many games in the field. If you are from a football team and they are figthing to win something and they happend to get a goal it's really fun and so emotive, its sutch a joy, such feeling. If you happen to live this with friends or family and watch your team win it's really something great great.

Talking tactics saves us having to play chess, bemoaning about our team's misfortunes saves us having to bitch about other people and when we win it gives us an opportunity to gloat. Simple really.

I don't know how it is across the pond, but over here men are just as fanatic. However, I love talking about American football and I love watching NFL games. I even have a shiny jersey but I got one is a kid's size and made it into a belly-baring top...I had to put some girl into it!
