OK, weekend plans.....

Tonight stay in with el missus (she is off to India for a month on Monday :cry:), cook dinner, wine etc.

Tommorow, gentlemens day on the lash. Starting 3pm northern quarter (mancunica), liverpool match, boxing at mates.

Sunday, horrible hangover then lunch with family in west didbsury.

if it's the remastered box set that came out a few years ago they are a bit longer than the originals, be warned.

I've tried so many times and am climbing the walls by the time they get to the bar with all the freaks in.

Trust me Sar - the only good bit is when all the big spaceships fly over at the beginning.

I'd leave them to it and do a runner.

Sun - During the day we're apparently re-watching the original 3 Star Wars again, this time using the original original original VHS releases (Apparently it's a 'completely different viewing experience' :rolleyes::oops:)

Friday - few local drinks and some food. I want to try and eat semi-healthily today as I am seriously turning into a FLS!!!

Saturday - Giving our flat a total winter clean!! It's a total state. Just had a new boiler put in so we have muddy boot prints all over our wooden floor in the lounge, rubbish everywhere etc etc. Looking forward to blitzing it and also doing up our bedroom - got some new shelves/duvets/frames etc so it will be nice to have that looking good :)
Then heading over to Chez Sawyer in the evening where Sar is cooking us a fancy meal that Gordon Ramsey would be jealous of ;) Few drinks and general minxiness then hopefully watching Hatton beat Mayweather!! Must get some sleep in preperation for...

Sunday - HUUUUUGE roast. Recommended as the best roast I'll ever eat so I definately want to be hungry for this one! :twisted::lol:

Oh c'mon! You've got to at least get to the scene in the Empire Strikes Back (2nd movie) where they're in Jabba the Hut's place with Princess Leia chained up in the gold bikini! It's legend...
 
Fri - Going home to look after my sis. Parents away on hol and she has a kidney infection so gonna keep her company and watch some dvds

Sat- Depending on how sis is feeling had planned a bit of a bender -

Starting at a dodgy pub in camden that has some massive satelite dish and shows all the football games - going with a load of dodgy mancunians....then heading to mates house in Islington for some pre-party shennanigans, then on to Melange in for a quick drink or 10 for friends Bday, shes organised it a bit last min so not sure how good will be

Main event is heading to another mates bday which is at Tabernacle - avg venue but should be a good crowd of old faces that havent seen in a while, then on to either the girl whose party it is or another mates house to watch the boxing

Sun- Was meant to meet my ex for dinner - she now lives in Hong Kong with her fella but am starting to think this is a very very bad idea as she is so emotional and already was making "I miss you" type sounds on the phone - this could be a head f**ck and so many obstacles to ever getting back together that no good could come of it.....so instead I think I might go ice skating at Somerset house with some friends instead

Well if you've only ever dipped your toe in the storyline and never gone through the mindblowingly involving emotional rollercoaster of all 3 'originals' then your bound to be dismissive about the wonder of it all :lol:

If you do find the cultural phenomenon a bit too intimidating (entirely understandable, of course. It's honestly not like your usual trashy girlie nonsense that you can just pick up and put down), then you should accompany us when we go and see the stageshow where the guy performs all three of the in an hour.

(extended a bit this week as Monday is quite interesting too)

Friday - Off to see bad old Roger Sanchez @ Gatecrasher in Nottingham which should be cool and the gang (though the £18 ticket is a bit of a raping)

Saturday - get up relatively late, run the gauntlet of Christmas shopping in Derby with a bit of lunch out. Back home and make myself beautiful for.................an old school Christmas works night on the razzle to include (no doubt) in no particular order :

(a) visits to such dubious establishments as Chicago Rock, Yates Wine Lodge and Baraccuda
(b) witnessing a fight
(c) seeing a drunk girl be sick in the street while her mate holds her hair back
(d) grimacing as the music policy for the evening is confirmed as chart RnB and anything by Cascada
(e) a trip to the local kebab house for a doner with chilli and garlic sauce.

Back home for about 2am (potentially with some fat lass from accounts) and on with the TV for the mighty Hatton.

Sunday - rue the night before due to a stinking hangover and general feeling of shame. Pop to mums for tea, go to bed early.

Monday - Xmas Departmental Team Building Event (groan) which is actually an excuse for us to do one of them Murder Mystery Event things (yay) at a hotel near Nottingham. Meal in the evening with the works folks and back home to my beddy.
