I just put this message out to the whole floor:
New fire regulations require us to monitor who is in the office at any specific time.
There is a signing in/out book on Rob's desk which must be kept up to date with staff movements. Please sign in and out every time you go to the toilet etc.
Please make every effort to comply with this and try to realise that this is for your own safety.
...EVERYONE has fallen for it hook line and sinker and we've got everyone signing their names and times every time they so much as make a cup of tea - bloody fools! How hilarious!
