NYE in London

My friend Nadi is going to London on boxing day. She has the option to get back the 31st or the 1st january, and she wonders if it's worth to spend NYE, which are the options and if they don't go to a club if they will have problems to find other options that are not tourist traps.
Opinions please
 
If she likes clubbing then there's a few good club things going on this NYE in London - I've not taken a great deal of notice of them myself cos I'm going to be in a better place :lol: but that NYE Clubbing thread lists most of them. If she's not into clubbing then I'd advise her to go back home for NYE cos restaurants will be charging 3x as much for a set menu (and you know how expensive you find our restaurants at the best of times), most bars/pubs are ticket only and only a tourist would go to Trafalgar Square/watch the fireworks :lol: ;)
