Can't decide whether to get away somewhere, stay home with friends or maybe book into a local 5 star hotel for the weekend?

More likely to go away somewhere but can't decide where

Fancied NYC but i don't fancy freezing to death :?

Maybe iceland and freeze to death good and proper?

Any suggestions?

Ibiza?

We were going to do Ibiza again this NYE but cos we're going away for my 30th in Jan the two were to close together.

I'm actually really looking forward to this NYE in London, for the first time in years line-ups are blinding, there's at least 3 things that I want to go plus lots of aftershow shenanigans :D

Now, why didn't i think of that?

P.S. I was listening to the Fabric 07: Hipp-E & Halo cd you sent me (ages ago) in the gym this morning. I forgot how good it was! Thanks again.

I'm in a huge quandry...

Pushca = cos they always throw the best parties and usually draw in a fantastic crowd of 30 somethings completely devoid of chavs. Last NYE was absolutely amazing.

Cross Central = great line up but I'm not at all keen on Canvas as a venue. Also - it'll be just 'another club' with good music but no colourful people or any decent production.

...There's also bound to be a Shoreditchy warehouse party somewhere which will beat the pants off CC so I've got my ear to the ground for details.

But ultimately I'll just go where my friends end up. Some of my embarrassing Brighton cousins ( ) are making the pilgrimage to London which for NYE is quite a shocker. 8O

I usually sack off NYE for a (big) local pub and get pissed with me old pals.

It's all about New Years Day for me.

Drew, I went last year it was late march and I'd never been so freezing in my life 8O
When I think of NYC first thing it came to mind is COLD

Did you find it cold, we went just before Christmas and I didn't find it that cold.

It won't be I'm sure but we're holding out anyway.

I'm sure with a bit of imagination you could make your own NYD t____ somewhere, and even have it sponsored by the local llama zoo.

all you need is stairs, a muscle alley (a corridor filled with tire tubes and sweat), 3 screaming trannies (can easily be made from shop manequins), talking toilet tiles (stick them onto a television with bbc news 24 playing), strobe lights (easily simulated with a fan and normal lights), lots of smoke (make the trannies smoke) and late 90's bouncy hardhouse on super loud (probably doesn't sound different to stampeding llamas).
