With his chunky gold jewellery, untamed shock of white hair, big cigar and garish tracksuits, Sir Jimmy Savile makes an unlikely hero. But for 19 years, this marathon-running, DJ-cum-TV presenter made more than a thousand dreams come true on BBC One's Jim'll Fix It.

But, now then now then, Jim'll Fix It is back for six new shows on UKTV Gold, looking back at old Fix Its and making new ones come true. "People have been driving me mad for the last 10 years to bring it back," says Jimmy. "Of course they have. Television's a bit weak these days. And I've always thought it would be nice for me, and the people I've fixed it for, to come back into the studio and see how they've got on. So each programme has about four old Fix Its, with people brought back, and one new one."

Wish I had the chance to watch Sky to see this! Used to love it.

Does everyone remember the kids that went on the roller coaster eating food and the outcome was hilarious!
