Notting hill carinival

So what's happening for Notting hill carnival this weekend. I've not heard of much going on, except the faith party but that's over in east london so doesn't count.

anyone got any tips?

go on monday and follow whichever beats take your fancy!;) 8)
 
Monday is probably the best day to go to the Carnival. We always end up at the Good Times bus which is really good fun to be at :)
 
Monday afternoon - Good Times and Sancho Panzo :D

Go to Kensal Rise station and it's only 5 mins walk from there and you miss a lot of the crowds ;)
 
Ah don't worry i'll be there for Sancho Panza. I was thinking more about after parties and so on. I've heard that the Garden Party at the Masons Arms is meant to be good, so might head down to that.

The Pelican is always good for post-Carnival antics. Last year we went to Bed bar for Jon Carter, they always have something good on - check for listings.. Be warned tho a lot of pubs/bars are advanced tickets only post-Carnival.
