i wasnt sure where else to post this, but i was wandering if anyone here lives in glasgow.

im moving to the city centre in the summer and wont know anyone:cry: is people relitively friendly? is the night life ok? etc

Yo Laura. I live jst outside Glasgow! The nite life is really good and caters for most peoples tastes! I dont know wot music you are into so its hard to reccommend any clubs! Theres loads of bars and clubs tho!

im in to all types of music, so im not fussy. im from aberdeen right now so i guess it cant be any worse than here anyway hehe

Indeed Rodber! Optimo is brlliant...infact its my fave nite out in Glasgow! Its held ever Sunday at the Subclub and i cant recommend it enuf! The djs are top notch and the music is outstanding!

The Arches is also good depending on whats on. Carl Cox is playin in April with Loco Dice, which will be a good 1!

You have ur usual cheese/student clubs which appeal to the masses such as The Garage, Campus etc etc. The ABC is a massive new club and it has quite good music!

I live in Aberdeen just now to, but go out in Glasgow quite a bit. Where do you go/do in Aberdeen?

Optimo in Glasgow is awsome, and you have to head to The Arches on certain nights...renowned to be one of the best clubs in Britain. Glasgow has a great bar scene to, you'll be spoiled for choice.

Think I'm actually heading down a week on Sat to go to The Arches:p
 
in aberdeen, not much. everywheres the same.
depends who im out with, most my mates like places like drum, liquid, ministry and my college lot like exidus, moshulu, etc. so really depends. im no fussed. i like all types of music.
what bout u?
 
I live right in the city centre, very handy...only a 5 minute walk from anywhere.

When i was a student we were in Liquid alot, as well as Espionage, Ministry...and the beloved Amadeus when it was open:cry:

Popped into Drum a few times to get...'sorted', but dont really like the place. For clubbing nights we either do Snafu or Kef. Tiger Tiger is actually good on Saturdays; not poncy like other Tiger Tigers and its good house music all night downstairs.

Bar wise, may favourites just now have to be Soul, Paramount, Revolution, Blu etc...
 
We try to go to Glasgow about once a month to The Arches etc. Great for a change and a wicked night out.

Wonder if we've met?Altough Aberdeen's pretty big, always know a hell of alot of folk out...?
 
Hey Laura

As said Glasgow is a really friendly place and there is always some good night on. My fav is the Subclub on a Saturday night for Subculture and again great nights at the Arches depending on what's on.

When are you planning on coming down?
