ok. day 1. struggling like a bus turd

promised myself i wouldn't eat myself through the withdrawal. failed miserably, had a packet of cookies, a 2ltr bottle of irn bru and i've had chewits in my mouth more often than not this morning.

the funniest thing is, i bought all that shit, but i know eating it had nothing to do with beating cravings. Thats me past the first test, the first lunch hour. it was always gonna be hard, and i must admit my skins kind of crawling at the thought of being nicotine free again for another 4 hours.

this is my mantra (its not very good)
£4 a day
£28 a week
£112 a month
£1344 a year

I could recite those figures in my sleep! Thats gonna make me quit!

We're both well and truly onto the darkside :twisted: I think between us we smoked about 100 cigarettes Saturday/Sunday just gone :twisted: :lol:

I know I could do it but then shit happens so I'm going to give it another go with the patches after the summer ;)

at least they will be cheaper to buy in Ibiza, just make sure you bring back thousands to last the summer :D
 
God this is tough. Ive a 15 minute walk to my car. Thats the next test! If i can get through today, I promise I wont spam up old topics anymore :D
 
I didn't smoke for a week because of my appendectomy, then jumped right back in it as soon as I felt better. Last night I had one of "those nights" where it felt SOOOO lovely to just stand on my porch and puff away with my glass of cabby in hand... :x Its moments like that that make it especially hard to quit!!
