how much cat food do you put out for you to be skint?

i feed mine once a day with the cat pouches and occasionally bowl full of biccies to shut him up. I once filled 2 cat bowls up with biccies to see if he'd eat them all because he's a pig, he did, his stomach stuck out at the sides like this ( )

I know this is a cat thread, but that made me laugh so much, Benson my dog had an operation when he was a pup to have half his tummy and part of his intestine removed, now when the little greedy bugger eats too much he swells up the same as yours.....but only on one side!! - he looks like this .....| ) - its quite amusing to see....
