'No Spotlight Tickets'

First FMIF and then Cocoon and Matinee - all 'no spotlight tickets'. I'm really, REALLY hoping that this is not the sign of things to come.
I have used spotlight for all my club night tickets for the past 2 years - not only does it save the hassle of getting tickets on the day but you are also able to beat some of the truly monster queues too! Saving grace on big nights at Pacha or Tiesto at Priviledge. Even gets you in quicker than some VIP lines too!

Are these events going to be back online with tickets on spotlight at some point or is that it now for the season? and more nights possibly following suit? any reason for it?

i love the impending doom of that post title ;)

i'll explain in a bit... have to dash

haha, doomsday. when no spotlight tickets are on sale.

james can explain fully, but the simple version is.

pacha have limited capacity and sometimes don't do online tickets (e.g. FMIF)

some other parties for different reasons, very few in fact, we don't sell.

overall, for ticketed events in ibiza we sell something like 95% of what's available.

SWEET! Thanks Grego! and thank fookness for that. although not doomsday i would've been seriously gutted if couldnt book in advance and be without the hassle of getting them on the day - and the queue jumping is a massive bonus. Just booking my next set of tickets (third holiday in a row through spotlight).

not bothered on FMIF as going to a ram-jammed Pacha were you cant move/dance/breath is not my idea of fun - amnesia or space it's gonna be for thurs nights:). I'll keep Pacha for Sander Kleinenburg and Sasha which will be far far better than Guetta could ever hope to be!

tks grego!

the main reason we don't sell some parties is because tickets for those parties are sometimes available under price or even free on the island. this is why we stick to selling parties where we know there is a real value in buying beforehand online. any other policy would always come back to bite us in the forums ;)

specifically for the two parties matinee and supermartxe, we have decided not to sell them, because too many people tried to buy tickets for these parties last year with stolen tourist credit cards from mainland spain.

credit card fraud is a fact of life in ecommerce. we work closely with the police and the club security teams to keep this at a minimum. we have several advanced warning triggers which detect suspicious buying patterns. because of this we identify nearly all fraudulent purchases in advance. but for those specific parties, matinee and supermartxe, we have been caught out in the past too often to make it worth our while selling.

both parties are spectacular, they are 2 of the most popular parties on the island and rightly so. but we have to look at the big picture and take this action unfortunately.

b.t.w my uncle in nigeria has a small financial problem perhaps you could help him with - p.m. me for details...
