No Space passout at Closing Party

Thoughts?

I understand the need to avoid the chaos of the opening, but it'll be interesting to see how people play it this time around. I would guess most people will either go and leave early or go and leave late.
 
I'm not there for Space Closing but it wouldn't particularly bother me, it's nice to have the option of a pass-out but there's been a few times when we've got to Space at midday and not had any urge to leave for a bit and left at 6am the following morning.
 
It's a real bummer but i can totally understand why the decision was made.

Looks like being an expensive day for us.

still a pass-out for WLS closing? was hoping to nip over to the apartments for a top up of cheap booze before going back in!
 
Im not gonna be there but if it stops the chaos of opening then that can only be a good thing. However, thats a long time to spend in a nightclub though. Ive yet to use a passout too as I always turn up after they stop dishing them out. Im plannning on going fairly early for WLS closing, leaving about 5 or 6 for a few hours and heading back in for the sun going down. I like the late programme more musically, ive not been going to Space long enough to fully appreciate the old terrace thing (A NKOTB as Barbie might abbreviate me) and I never went before it changed so I have no "spiritual" ties to it like a lot of people here do.

If there were no passouts Id go to Bora Bora all day, aim for Space for 7 or 8 and stay till the death.

doing the full 22 hours is hard but not that hard. the worst part is between the time you get in the morning until midday when it gets going, after that the terrace vibe keeps you going and by the time the heavyweights arrive you're well into it.......:twisted:

i think more people will come late stu. which is fine by me, as it means those glorious late afternoon hours out the back and on the sunset terrace will be mine, all mine ;)

as many have pointed out though, if it stops the problems of the opening, good.
 
Its definitely going to affect our usual Space Closing schedule, but like people have said, its a good alternative to what happened in June. (In an ideal world they'd just do as before but then stop selling tickets on the door once they've sold out the capacity of the club, regardless of who's in or not, but anyway..)

I guess now what time we'll go in will de determined by what time the DJ's are playing. I hope they release this information before the day, as it would largely affect my plans for the sunday.

Doesn't bother me at all since I didn't plan to use the pass out...I remember the opening and I won't go through that again..
