no one understands my ibiza obsession!!

Living in Pittsburgh NO ONE understands why I love Ibiza so much! Sometimes I think there is something wrong with me! Maybe I just need to find better mates to hang out with. I think about it every day! After reading the NYE post that was so descriptive, I just need to go back this summer. I might have to go alone and meet up with some people over there. I don't think my friends can hang. I went last year with my friend Debra, and had a blast, but she can't go this summer. It sucks being so far away!
 
I don't expect people to 'get' it.. unless they've been.. I just pity them:)

go on your own, its no problem.. especially if you really want to go that much, pleny of people fly from as far away as you and further!
 
yes because of that reason ^^ I do a bit of convincing.. but its their loss!

In Canada, N. America, people see Wild on.. and think I'm dancing around poles downing shots of tequila, while a DJ shouts "all-you-crazy-party-people-wave-your-hands-inthe-air-....the first girl to show me her red bra gets 10 free drinks!!woo hoo!!).. and my relatives in the UK jsut have a bemused look on their face.. My aunt asked me, "Why don't you just go to corfu?"
A guy I know here said, "Are you going to go to that island in Greece again and inject dope?"

Don't worry...I understand your obsession completely!!
I've been going to Ibiza for the past 5yrs now...funny how time flies but if I had the money and the people to go with, I would've been going since 1997 when I was 17!! No one here (Toronto) knew what the heck I was talking about when I wanted to plan a trip there!! Finally I finished up school and got a full time job which meant $$$$$...and the story began!! Now, I'm trying to plan this years trip but I'm feeling that my mates are just not into it that much anymore. I'm freaking out because I can't picture not going but then I thought, "just go on and do it alone". It's not like I don't know where I'm going or what parties I like to go to or any of that...So, should my friends bail on me this summer, I will venture off alone because I'm going to be going there til I kick the bucket. I can promise you that!! LOL
So hang in there and be strong; you're not the only one with a love-sick obsession for the island...there are many of us in the same boat!!! :)

Me too... I've gotta real problem this year as Sarah has got this stoopid idea that we're gonna have a new bathroom ahead of another soiree to the white isle... this is funkin not right!!!... trouble beckons I feel... I'm hoping it's just january detox stupidity messing up her mind about the important things in life!!!! i.e. Ibiza and not bathrooms!!!!8O We're probably end up with both and me doing ALOT of overtime! but I WILL GET THERE this year definitely to make my visits into double figures!
