newb: Girl to guy ratio

Wuts up everybody, Im planning a trip to ibiza and was wondering what are the girl to guy ratios in the clubs, also how crazy are european girls compared to american girls. and how would it cost for a 7 day trip from the US to ibiza at a pretty good hotel on the beach and would be clubbing alot.

Girl to guy ratio is about even mostly.

What do you mean how crazy?

Do you mean how likely are the girls to want to get jiggy or get their bits out all over the show? There's probably more risque dancing/clothing/general behaviour in Ibiza than in the US but most is just for show and effect. Hardly anyone goes to the decent clubs to hook up.

Seven day holiday, hhhmmm i'm not sure how much your flights would be but for a decent hotel and spending money and clubbing a lot it would be about $2500 probably. You're not helped by the fact that the dollar is really weak at the moment, especially against the Euro. So add whatever your flights would cost to $2500 i guess.

Also be aware that hotel standards in Ibiza are a lot lower generally than the US so a 4* hotel in Ibiza would be like a 3* in the US. There really arent that many really decent hotels, especially on the beaches either.

Do you know where abouts on the Island you'd like to stay?
 
For Playa D'en Bosa you should stay at the Bali beach appartments, they're really nice and right on the Beach. A mate who posts on here stayed there the other year and cant praise them enough :D they're part of the Jet complex but are a lot nicer than the normal jet apartments...

Ditto to what Nath said, if you don't mind spending a bit more, Bali Beach apartments are lovely :D
 
Last year I went for 10 days and I probably spent a total of $4000 USD. Granted, I didn't really skimp on anything, but you get the idea. Airfare alone during the summer from Boston or NY is around $1000, a decent hotel is at least $150 a night in Playa den Bossa, and clubbing is very expensive- plan on spending at least $100 a night. Then there's all the other things like food, rental car (I highly recommend), etc..

And N8 is right about the girls in clubs- they're not looking to hook up. The clubs are definitely not a hook-up scene.

As a fellow Yank, I'll be glad to tell you my story.

I went in 2003 for four days. I stayed in a campground. I ate out every night and drank like a fish. I spent a total of $350 on the Isle and like $150 for transportation from Denia to Ibiza and back. I spent $700 for airfare from JFK to VLC. I have famila in Valencia so I stayed with them for a few weeks in Valencia and had a great time.
