Turnmills
New Year's Eve at Turnmills
An eclectic evening of block rockin' beats, twisted house and techno from The Chemical Brothers, Justin Robertson, Lottie, Nathan Detroit and many more including as an added bonus the originators of acid house Shaun & Bez!.

Could someone give me a hand as i have no idea where Turnmills is located,...if we go we will get the Train to London Victoria, my question is wot underground line do we go on from there and @ wot station is nearest to the club? how far walk/taxi from the station?

r there any good pre club bars near the club?

er annexo and play bar :?

New Years Eve Party - Hoxton Apocalypse 2005

At 333, Mother, Bricklayers Arms, & Red Lion. Featuring Mutiny, Rob Da Bank, Mark Moore, Addiction, DJ Derek, Horse Meet Disco, Neil Boorman, The Science Class & many more antics. Over the course of four short years, Hoxton Apocalypse has become a New Years institution in East London. Shoreditch stalwarts 333, Mother, Bricklayers Arms and The Red Lion fling open their doors for an eight room, multideejay knees up that’s as messy as it is varied. Less pestilence and more like a good old fashioned puerile East End knees up; if you want to do NYE East London style, there really is no other alternative. And all for just £30. In fine apocalyptic East End music hall tradition, our entertainers are local favourites from Bow to Brixton. This year kings of the House frontier Mutiny and Radio 1 / Sunday Best's Rob Da Bank rub shoulders with the world's oldest disc jockey DJ Derek, Drum & Bass protege Addiction, premier Hip Hop DJ Joe Ransom and S-Express legend Mark Moore. Ultra cool pink promoters Horse Meat Disco host a room of pumping Disco, the Bricklayers team stage another of their legendary bizarre cabaret shows, and the newly reopened Red Lion provides a plush meet and greet space. Former ShoreditchTwat Neil Boorman runs from floor to floor adding his inimitable brand of Hoxton chic and 333 residents The Science Class add bass to the place. If variety really is the spice of life then there's something to rock all your boats. The four horsemen of the apocalypse are still TBC but we're working on it! Expect House music classics, Hip Hop beats, Drum & double Bass, Reggae two step, Pop, Disco and all Dance in between.

Doors: Pubs from 6pm, club from 9pm till very late / Tickets £30 in advance only at the following outlets: 333 Old Street (0207 739 5949/ www.333mother.com), Phonica Records Poland Street W1 (0207 025 6070), Bricklayers Arms Charlotte Road (0207 739 5245) www.ticketweb.co.uk, Bread & Honey, 205 Whitecross Street (020 7253 4455) www.breadnhoney.com.

Did you see the Kinky do?

Gibson Hall £65 (IIRC) drinks included. Quite a nice venue, it's only 50 yards from my work!

And then 'Kinky' are doing the JoJo's am slot NYD. Not too sure about that one.

I did see that, we're in 2 minds whether to go, but its gonna cost Paul £130 before we start  its a lot of money for a night out, think we're gonna see who's going, and then decide, I know a few of the regulars are just going to the afterparty but with Paul having to work NYD its really not a good idea, damn fire brigade :x

NYE - house party round mine (although me telling people it's an open house now has me running scared :?) but still cheap as chips though! & then NYD... HAS to be Subliminal Sessions @ Ministry!! Perrrrfect way to kick off the year! :D
