New Years Eve in Ibiza

pacha is open, amnesia throws a huge new years eve party.

space, in previous years is open new years day, might not be this year though.

this year im gonna be the first time at NYE on the island,...cannot wait! :D ive been once in december on the island, it was 96 i think, but NYE on ibiza, a totally new experiance :D
 
I went for the Millennium and it was my best NYE ever, completely different to Ibiza in summer (I remember trekking the streets for hours trying to find a shop open that sold rizlas :roll: :lol: ) but a really good crowd.

We spent New Years Day dancing in the sunshine on the terrace at Space, happy days :D

Even tho the weather was generally pretty good in the daytime the nights get really cold so take a jacket.

Barbie - is it difficult/expensive to get to from England in the winter?

Ours was a Manumission package esp for the Millennium so that's probably not a good guide, I think we paid £500 for flights, hotel for 3 nights and entrance into clubs. Ibiza airport wasn't even open, they just opened specifically for the flights for the Millennium, I think it's much easier to get to now and there's more flights.

Sorry, but you are in the wrong: Ibiza airport is open all year. Ibiza is not isolate it all year.

Sorry came out wrong, what I meant that it wasn't open for charter flights from UK but they put them on specifically for the Manumission package.
 
regarding the flights, you will probably have to change at either madrid or barcelona - i changed at barcelona. A but of hassle, but well worth it.
 
Via Palma is the best way to go imo. Flights to palma seem cheaper than to either madrid/barcelona and internal flights seem cheaper to.

I went from luton to ibiza via palma in dec 03 and it took me 3.5 hours as the connections worked well. easyjet cost me £50 iberia cost me £100
 
Yep Mr PL was in agreement to NY in Ibiza too.... I said I would not want a Christmas present from him (he hates buying for me cos I am difficult) so that brought a smile to his face..... now just need to work out the logistics of getting there, babysitter for the dog etc....
 
Just worked out I can fly Sleazyjet from Ncle - Palma for £165.00 (for 2 people) then link to Air Berlin from Palma to Ibiza for £117 (for 2 people) Come on!!!

Air Berlin leg = €162 (including taxes, charges and €10 fuel surcharge - thats inclusive for 2 peeps)
 
What clubs are open for NYE? Getting with all this contradictory infos :?
