Planning on spending a few days in London over the New Year period. Can anyone tell me what usually goes on regarding clubs (Ministry of Sound) etc? Who played last year and is it worth getting VIP tickets?

House parties & smaller bar venues away from the centre are the best bet NYE. Central London is a disaster zone full of plebs.

Last year Pete Tong put on Wonderland at Ministry, cant remember who else played!

Wait a bit longer for the line-ups to come out. You get worse crowd but if you go with mates and enjoy the DJ's there's no need to pay attention to anyone else!

normal tickets to clubs will be around £30 to £50, VIP will be double that.
