Help! anyone:

I am planning a trip to Ibiza over August, most likely the 1st to the 10th or dates around then. I am looking for any info from any Ibiza vet. Where to stay? What clubs to hit? Useful tips, good beaches, relative ease of taxis. The bank breaking figure pf what a good week on a budget has to offer. Should I rent a house? etc etc... I am 20, male, and will be travelling with 4 or 5 others, both male and female. Anything will help me out, if you know cheap deals or places I gotta go. Anyways thanks a million. I'm from Canada if that makes a difference in any info you can give. Thanks a million

Cheers,

Connor

Hi Connor

All of your questions have been answered here many times. Get started by reading the main Ibiza-Spotlight site and then do a search on these forums for keywords about what you want to know ('budget' for example).

Then come back to us with more specific questions ;)

Buy the Rough Guide to Ibiza & Formentera book. Lots of useful info, and fun too. Perfect bathroom literature, keeps you in the mood... There's a new 2005 edition out, make sure you get that. Here's a link to the book on Amazon.

Hello, fellow Canuck,

Are you going to Ibiza as part of a European holiday, or just going over for Ibiza. If you are just going over for Ibiza, its much cheaper to get a flight to London and then do the easyjet thing, or somewhere else in Europe. Where are you flying from?
A year ago I got a flight with zoom airlines for 580 dollars, and then got a return easyjet for under 100 pounds.

This year, i went on my airmiles to london and got an easyjet flight for under 80 pounds.. bargain!

If you're going with friends, I'd get a car.. You'll get to see the rest of the island, party by night ( and day) and get to make your way around the island and check out all the great beaches and go into ibiza town at night, Its also a pain in the ass to get a taxi when you're coming out of the clubs at 7 am.. makes way more sense financially to do that.

makes so much difference to your holiday. so my number one tip is to hire a car. I didn't do it my first time, but did my second.. major difference.

Give us more specifics, what music you like, we all have different preferences, bit personally I think cocoon is the best night on the island, I planned my trip this year so I could fit in two Mondays.

You'll be hooked, I made the trans-atlantic journey last year and this year, and i'm already thinking about going again next year!

What do you mean by budget? no one says you have to waste your money, but I don't see the point in going on a clubbing holiday if you aren't going to spend the money going clubbing and alll the extras that go along with it.

Each year I'e gone, I've been out clubbing every night ( and some days) ate out in restaurants all the time and it hasn't been too bad.

If you're making the effort for that distance, I don't see the focusing on too much of a budget.

You'll have the time of your life!
