there's other threads about this year's new restrictions but i scanned this from today's UH to make it a bit more clear as every municipality will have different rules. as you can see, the cafes-concierto will be the more affected...

(*) till 5am during the winter / till 5.30am during the summer

[vila (ibiza town) haven't passed the changes yet so this is not definitive]

So Formentera, Sant Joan and Santa Eularia look like the places to be for nightlife this year

So how is this different from last year?

the 4:30 start time is and has been ridiculous. Vegas does not have these restrictions....Ibiza better be careful what they wish for.

6AM really means 7AM right? i.e. don't they have 1 hour to clear out, so stop the music about 06:45, out by 7!

i've always been kicked out at 8am last year!and i think the closings times were pretty the same!

What time of year? As the season gets into September the rules start to get thrown out....

yes BUT... will not be permitted to play music which is audible from the outside of the premises between 12.00 midnight and 4.00 o'clock in the afternoon

another scan, this time from today's DDI with the changes in san antonio. as mentioned yesterday, the places with cafe-concierto license are clearly the more affected. for example, those that show football (and in san an there's a few) now won't be able to do it till 4pm...

thanks for the info McRackin... so cafe conciertos in the west end only are having to close at 5am and out with the west end can remain open until 6am? And Eden / Es Paradis are 6am?

out with the west end can remain open until 6am?
cafes concierto in both zone 1 (west end) and 2 (the rest) have to close at the same time, 5am!

same for the club where you're the resident dj, that if ever decided to open during the winter could do one extra hour (no, i don't get it either)...

ah ok, thank you... not great news as i'd imagine 5-6am is one of the busiest hours for many of the cafe conciertos...

the forgotten club actually belongs to san josé, so 30 minutes extra...

What about Itaca, Ibiza Rocks Bar, Linekers etc. along the beach strip.... and Ocean Beach Club ... do they get to stay open till 6am as they're not in the West End ?

only the "salas de fiesta, de baile y discos" outside the west end can stay open till 6am :!:

your beloved OCB is a beach club so 10am till 3am, not sure what license the other three have so i can't say...
