New iPod adds video support

Yeah, I'm gonna get one, I need a new ipod after my old one broke, and since the 30gig is pretty much the same price as the 20gig was before it, (£219) it's a bargain really, you're getting extra features for basically nothing, and it's much thinner.

I'm also thinking of getting the new imac - currently my computer consists of a laptop plugged into an ancient screen as the laptop screen broke and a keyboard as I melted the keys on the laptop when I tried to dry milk I spilt on it with a hairdryer :lol: :roll: and it's now run out of memory with the amount of music I've got on it.

Need to get myself a loan.. anyone fancy lending me a grand?

I didnt want Itunes. It installed itself secretly. Then proceeded to screw up my registry for some unbeknown reason. I blame my PC for a lot of things, and I used to love MACS and personally believe they are superior for Multimedia etc. BUT the fact remains that I HATE APPLE!!!!
 
funnily enough, when i install shit on the Mac, it always asks.

u can blame windoze for auto installing every disc u stick in its slot.

Phill, I don't doubt you don't like apple and whatever but it's quite hard to belive that a programm that it's not a virus has autoinstalling powers
 
or you could buy something thats a lot better:

get one from a company who have been making portable media mp3/video devices for years..

as for itunes. I also think its an incredibly crap app that limits what you can do with your ipod. There are a couple of 3rd party apps out there which are a lot better. I just use the winamp plugin.

That mobile DVD looks nice! I've been in the market for a portable DVD player that would support my DVD + and DVD -'s. I'd love to spend my time on the subway watching a good film, but then again, I'd end up having to watch the film with all the homies - "Yo! She watchin' Braveheart! Dat's da bomb!".

That video Ipod is nice but not if it's going to not let you add your own MPEGs. The Archos is inviting but I've read bad reviews about it's resolution. If they improve it I'll certainly save up for one.
 
come on silvia, you should know me well enough by now to know I was only shouting in jest! :lol: hence the picture of the angry old man.

it autoinstalls if you install quicktime. or at least it did then. im only bitter and twisted cause it rendered me computerless, internetless and nearly music-less for about 2-3 months while i tried to figure out what had happened. (right at the time of WMC 05 as well :evil: when I wanted to hear all the new music).
