- New for 2016 in San Antonio, RIO (formerly Pussycats) -

plenty of pix here.

This summer in Río Ibiza, we will have the collaboration of the renowned chef Tomasso Freschi.
He has worked in several Michelin star awarded restaurants in Italy and London over the last 20 years and has also established his own businesses like Zenzero and Osteria n30.
We can promise the best enjoyable meal ever!

Really looking forward to this, great to hopefully have another decent place for drinks and dancing!

Walked past yesterday, still building it looks as though most of the inside still needs fitted out, maybe early July at a guess. Took a pic but can't figure out how to upload it :/

Yeah still looks that way, outside looks almost finished and looks like work has started on the inside but still quite a bit to go by the looks of it

I'm a builder so I can nip over today and give them a hand if needed - any excuse to get there sooner

Yeah the exterior of the building looks pretty much finished but still a building site in the grounds surrounding it (what I guess will be the terrace) and inside still looks as though it has a fair bit to go though, hope they manage to get it finished and open soon

drove past rio the other day and noticed it's still not open. went to check their facebook now and they say they'll open in a few days. let's see how long it actually still takes them to open!

well let's see how it'll be once open and busy. but I also liked how simple pussycat was.

If they get the music policy right it could be cool and attract the right people. Get it wrong and it just becomes an extension of the West End. Really hoping it works and excited to see what they have planned.
