*** new for 2013: DESTINO PACHA IBIZA RESORT ***

I think they are playing Sankey's too. But that's off topic - i was more mentioning them being there as that is another daytime party of some sort that will be at Destino :)

Still off-topic but Droog are Standard Hotel rooftop LA regulars. Played Fabric last year too - gutted to miss 'em as I got there too late. Decentish deep housey techy weccie fodder with the odd moment of brilliance. Notwithstanding, definitely no strangers to a bit of fashionable posing round the DJ booth so would likely fit in well here. Or musically during early hours @ Circo Loco.

BTW ... does the girl on the poster in the bikini come with room service ?

After 500 days of intense renovation and development, Destino Ibiza - the stunning new concept in both accommodation and entertainment in the form of a resort- opens its doors today, June 12th. Get ready for the new Ibiza lifestyle!

here's cat's article about destino:
http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/magazine/2013/06/experience-destino-pacha-ibiza-resort-and-hotel

i was there for lunch last week (and will of course be at the opening party on thursday), it's definitely a beautiful place i must say. what I really like about it is the open doors policy. which means, even though you're not a guest at the hotel you can walk in, have lunch, enjoy a drink. tip: go for a drink around sunset and enjoy the views.

more on destino soon.

hey guys... if you stay here do you get free entry to pacha? If i remember rightly it was/is the case for el hotel.... just wondering if they had the same policy.

:)

destino opening in one word: ROADBLOCK! ...

neighbours NOT amused at all about chaotic destino opening:

"...
Hours of chaos in Cap Martinet
...

The residents of Cap Martinet already warned at the time: the opening of the new hotel in the area would be a before and an after in this area neighborhood life, Jesus and Talamanca. And it seems that it has. "The only access road we were jammed with traffic from the afternoon until late at night, even had tails from the promenade. Neighbors were unable to access their homes and those who had to go to work could not leave the neighborhood for traffic chaos that was formed, "explained Vincent Planells, president of the Association of Residents of Cap Martinet. The traffic jam was compounded by lack of parking: "People parked anywhere, on sidewalks, in front of the Fords ... where got caught." And said: "This has been an absolute mess and frightening."

As for the music, the neighbors explained that began about eight o'clock in the evening until midnight. As stated by the president even made a "sound level meter with an engineer officer who told us in decibels is exceeded." ...

Sophie - they have updated their website room descriptions and the most costly rooms do say they include Pacha entry (and car service!). However the more inexpensive rooms do not.

I bet if you book there email them and ask about that good chance they'll offer the free Pacha entry for your room.

after opening-havoc jesus-area-people meeting with st eularia´s major
to avoid that pacha´s destino acts like pdb´s openair-disco ush:

"...
The president of the neighborhood association, said he did not oppose the "hotel business of the establishment, is a wonderful hotel in the day to day we do not generate complaints" but recalled that "Cap Martinet is not Platja d'en Bossa, the access road and we here can not support both volume of people as they move in large parties. "
They explained these neighbors, the mayor reminded the moratorium prohibiting Consistory approved clubs and cafes concert (not beach clubs) in areas of Cala Llenya, Roca Lisa and Cap Martine ...

I noticed they have free bus service running to the event from a few locations... that must be to help keep down the traffic and complaints.

look at the lineup .

buses or not -
100% roadblock is already guaranteed for ush II that day !
