Need help

Hey, just wondering if anyone has ever had a similar problem or has a good excuse I can use. I go to Ibiza every year but last year the guy I worked with came to Ibiza with me, enjoyed it and is talking about coming back again with me this summer. The problem is 2 other mates are wanting to go and for the 3 of us to get 1 of the 3 bedroom apartments. Id much rather go with they 2 as they are more into the music over there and the Ibiza culture, whilst the 1 I work with I thought was a bit out of place in some of the clubs over there and isn't really into dance music. What excuse can I use, especially since I work with him everyday as well? Any advice would be greatly appreciated spotlighters
 
Just say you have pre booked club tickets for every night. I have this problem with some of my really close friendsreally annoying. This year am going with a select few people that actually like clubbing.

It's your time to enjoy your self not worry about what your friends want leave him behind
 
Cheers mate. im going to have to say something as I don't want him to come with us. Its the fact he works with me which makes it 10 times worse as im worried that if he was told he wouldn't come with me then he might get pissed off and say to our boss its because we would probably want to take drugs etc all week (which wouldn't be the case) and then it would get into an argument of my word against his.
 
it might just have to be something like that I will just have to come out and say to him. he knows I usually wait until radio 1s weekend gets announced as im out there every year then. I want to do some of the sights and things that I do every year aswell like es vedra etc which he wont do as he lies in bed most of the day. im moving into a new home in june so im thinking that could be used when I tell him
 
Not really a good friend if he's a grass.

Another option is invite someone he hates? Or say your booking for a 2nd trip for closings?
 
I know mate. that's just a bit of a risk though since I work with him

The excuse about using the closing parties could work though as I usually do them aswell for a few nights every year. I could say that as im moving house in june I want to chill out aswell on the island in august but id be more up for partying in sept. I could also lie that I could only afford a few nights in august because of the house instead of a week or so. Do you think that's believable?
 
tell him youre going with just you and a girl as a romantic thing. if that doesnt work tell him youre going some place else for vacation and lie to him...then brag about how great it was, and next year when you have the same problem and want to go to ibiza..tell him he really really really needs to go to whatever place you made up this year because it was so amazing. two years with one stone!

Cheers mate. I probably will go down the route of using the closing parties as an excuse as guaranteed I'll be back for some of them aswell

that would be an ideal way if I knew it would work mate. Then that way it would rule him out of going back next year either. Cheers
 
This has happened to friends of mine that rented a villa for 10 day good few years ago but we're ask by the owner to make themselves scarce for most of one day because there was a porno been filmed at the villa and pool:eek:they decided to get back a bit early just to catch some of the action and it was gay porn, big guys, beards ect.. o_O safe to say the pool wasn't used for the rest of the holiday..

Happened to me with a flatmate believe it or not. He was a nightmare on holiday. Totally different guy at home but on holiday turned into the tightest, whinging little bitch! He was moaning about the clouds being out one day cos he couldn't get a tan!

Needless to say, the next year he got left behind!
 
Why dont you just say that 1 or your 2 other mates has booked a 3 bed apartment for your trip, meaning no room for him? Then its up to him if he goes on his own, or goes with some other friends

cheers mate. that's the plan we want to do. he could come for a few days in sept for some of the closing parties and leave us to go for a week in august

he sounds like a nightmare on holiday. no way id go with someone like that to Ibiza once I knew that's what they were like

You'd be surprised sometimes how different people are on holiday compared to how they are at home. Maybe it's the sun and the excitement of being away from home - I dunno. I've seen two of the closest of mates go on holiday together and come back and never speak to each other again.
