Need Advise For Travelling To Ibiza

hi everyone

this is my 1st time going to ibiza.
it really amaze me when i saw that most of the hotels are fully book for SUMMER 07.

can someone help me on the below so that i can start planning for my trip. probably backpacker style cos travelling from singapore to europe really cost a bomb..

1) where can i look for cheap and clean hotel
2) understand that ferry from denia to ibiza cost around 60 euros. its that correct? or are there cheaper ferries?
3) clubbin tickets sold online eur 60 is it for all clubs in ibiza or i have to get individual tickets to diff clubs?

sorry guys and gals.. 1st timer here so i need to have u experts guiding me :P

pls help

i am from singapore and planning to travel to ibiza probably end of august 2007 hence probably would need to do some research to plan my budget.

Hotels aren't booked for 2007, most of those are still 2006 bookings - a lot of hotels haven't even started taking bookings yet for 2007 so you've got plenty of time ;)
 
Re: Hotels, check the main Ibiza-Spotlight site. You'll notice the links to the right of this page. Don't worry - you should have no problems waiting until spring to book.

If you'll be on a tight budget, August might not be the best time to go. The hotels are cheaper up until late June and beginning in mid-September. Even some of the clubs charge less for entrance.

The clubs all have different ticket prices, and even at the same club prices can vary by party. 60 Euros is about the most expensive ticket you'll see. The cheapest I had on my most recent visit was around 20 Euros.

Some tickets you can get online but all tickets can be purchased on the day of the event at many bars around the island. Depends on how much you want to plan ahead. The advantage with some of the online tickets purchased through Ibiza-Spotlight is that you stand in a shorter queue to get in the club. (especially good at Space)

Not strictly correct - several Bar M events sold out completely in advance.

However as usual your prompt helpfulness is exemplary.

I didn't realize that Bar M sold tickets for events! I haven't been there much since '01 but back then you just walked right in.

Am I right to guess that when Ibiza Rocks moved over there, they had to limit the crowd to some degree?

Tickets for Bar M events were available from the Spotlight online ticket shop all summer.

We Are Scientists, Editors, Dirty Pretty Things, the Streets and both nights Kasabian played sold out.

Capacity is less than a thousand however. It will be interesting to see if they expand the venue next year.
