ok this is going to be my 1st time to ibiza, so i need some good advice to choose a good location :D

so far i like:

playa bossa - lots of clubs near by, some other cool bars there(bora bora), nice beach (right? )

or

san antonio - the sunset cafes, busy place, uhm cannt think of any other pros right now ;p

well what i want is:

-stay at a cheap hotel close to beach for some 8 days
-probably rent a car
-go to see 2-3 clubs (SPACE is a must! 8) )
-go chillout in the evenings

im thankfull for any ideas....

can anybody answer this without provoking a violent brawl?

or should i just lock the post right now?

uhm, i noticed the San Antonio or Ibiza Town? locked threads, i sure DONT want to provoke anything.

what im looking for is a advice for a fist-timer, which location to choose to get a change to see most of the GOOD stuff. the priorities are nice beaches, good bars and space club

I would go for PDB, you've got Space on your doorstep, Bora Bora for when you don't want to club and you're close to Ibiza Town. The Jet apartments are right on the beach and pretty cheap. You can get to Salinas easily by bus/taxi even if you don't hire a car.

Re chillout you can get a bus/taxi over to San An one evening to see the sunset. Whereas if you base yourself in San An you'll always be travelling to other side of island for Space, Pacha etc.

That's just my opinion tho ;)

depends what you want to do most, last year i stayed in san antoni, like u have said the advantages of there are the sunset bars but theres not too much there during the day cept coastline and kanya.

we are staying in playa den bossa this year as we spent alot of the last holiday in taxis across to the clubs and to borra borra. who knows this year we might spend loads of time in san an! we also chose pdb cos it is a bit quieter than san an.

either way the island is pretty small so its easy to get from one side to the other.

where to stay

depends on whether or not you are traveling in a big group or a small group.

from what you are saying. pdb is more up your street. if you are going in a small group.

if your in a bigger group the san an . as you get more of a choice so your group and do a bit of every thing.

goof luck

MAr Y Vent apartment are where we stayed just outside San An. there really nice and right next to the sunset strip. Escapades (reps really good and no hassel to go on trips) have a lot of there rooms and you can usuallly get a good deal.

Nice post Mr Ibiza1timer!

Basically asking all the same questions I did, (but without getting your thread locked - must be just racism against Red people or something)

All I can say is being in the same position as you i.e. Ibiza virgin, the helpful people who PM'd me swayed me into going to PDB. However, if I were 10 years younger (I'm actually 32) I might have gone for San An - I dunno.

I have another question for Ibiza regulars too... Where would you stay (Hotelwise) if money was no object? (it is for me by the way - I was just wondering)

Salinas is the southernly most point of the island, where the salt flats are. There is also a gorgeous beach there which is a must to do you'll definately relax and chill out!

If money were no object l'd go for either Pikes
http://www.pikeshotel.com/en/summer/index.php

or the Hacienda (which I cant find a website for)

Both are fantastic. Quite a way from Ibiza town etc, but if you're staying there I'm sure that taxi fares won't be a problem. ;)

If you want something a bit nearer to clubs/bars I've been hearing good things about the suites at El Hotel.
