Myths, legends and superstitions of Ibiza

Im sure everyone has read or atleast heard about it, something has to be done!
There are concrete high rises to support the motorway of 30Metres, right infront of ibiza town, when you come from Sta Eularia!!!
No one wants this but there is nothing anyone can do, thats what it seems like anyway, just a few weeks ago now, there were riots, and protests with people lying infront of the bulldozers trying to stop them from bulldozing yet and other house!! Even though people are still living in the house and are standing there trying to stop them the workers just take their houses away from them right infront of their eyes,

Many people only ever revieved one letter to say that there will be a new road built and that they have a month to clear out their house and leave!!!! !!!!How can something lilke this happen!!!!

I am not trying to ruin your holiday, but if you have been here before and are expecting the same as last year or even the years before, get ready, it is not the same. And never will be again if something does not get done about this.

how horrible! you just don't expect that in ibiza! in england comulsory purchase happens every day but you have to question whether it's all necessary on the tiny little island.

Sandi told me it was quite hard, I think they planned to have actual wedding in England and then blessing in Ibiza :? Maybe I'll get married in Barcelona (is that hard :lol: ) and then honeymoon @ the Hacienda.

Look at me planning everything, I've not even been asked yet :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
yeah its nigh on impossible to get hitched in ibiza unless you are a resident.

me and alexis did a registery office in jeans and t-shirts with just the minimum 2 witnesses, then i spent the day of my 'legal' marriage watchin football.:roll: :lol: we then had the blessing/proper wedding in ibiza, which was our real marriage celebration.:D :D 8) 8)

Of course we're going to get married, we've known that for years, it's not something that's massively important to either of us cos it won't really change us but we'll def do it one day ;)

*shrugs modestly and smiles coyly in 'yes i am' kinda of way*:lol: :lol:

we stayed in one with a jacuzzi and it was class, cos you could just wake up and go sit in this beautiful jacuzzi with an amazing view and champers on ice seemingly on tap.8) 8) we got so much free champagne when we got married, more bottles than we knew what to do with it. we stayed at el hotel and the hotel even arranged for us to have a free bottle inside pacha:D. i think i'm just gonna say "we're just married" where ever i go now, such a freeloader!!:oops: :lol:

the grade up from a jacuzzi suite is one with a mini-swimming pool on your terrace as well. when i say mini i mean it but you get a jacuzzi as well.;)

you're right i don't really wanna see the fighting/anger over this issue.

although i didn't make it clear, it was actually the 30 metre high (?) supports that i was interesting in seeing. are they that high??:?
