nish or nitefly, did you post it?

MySpace is great for music - track down your fave artists and you can explore their friend lists for similar artists - I've found some really cool new music via the site.

indeed. there'd be a gap in my life it were all taken away from me now.

and if your using it to find dates, then you really need to get out more!

look at my profile, man tits, balding patch, big lithuanian shnoz and bad dress sense are all on display. frankly, i couldnt give a damn, as anyone who meets me is gonna see all my imperfections anyway. im pretty much the same person online as i am offline i think.

agreed it's good for music.

I think my main problem with it is just I don't have the time and energy to put a lot into it - hence why I've not made a profile and have got about 3 friends on it  . Perhaps if I had a proper go at it I would 'get it' and enjoy it.

I'm already absorbed by facebook, spotlight, emails etc, adding another would practically kill me 8O

once myspace has you theres no escape! firefox is also killing my social life. being able to put little tabs to forums, ebay and myspace is making jumping between conversations on different boards too easy. i've also just got a big massive PC beside my bed and i leave it on during the night playing music and in case my bro wants to skype me from san fran. its hard to go to sleep when there are forums to check every 5 minutes!

(Have you tried IE 7, by the way? Free download from MS and it's also got the tabs. Something about FireFox bugs me...)

nah no way, computer has never run better than with firefox.

not 1 problem and yes i read the debunking article before someone points it out!)

what is the point of "Tom" being everyones friend resulting in each and every profile you pull up saying "They are in your extended network"?

Myspace is good for info on the DJs - Cevin Fisher regularly sends out guestlist offers but unfortunately only for NYC

That's just because a) it turns off active content on web pages and b) the hackers haven't had as much time to mess with it!

I think the new IE is much better on the security front. I'm using it at home and in the office and I like it quite a bit. I'd almost call it a Firefox-killer.

Safari 8)

Just to set the story straight... I'm not on myspace cause it is just like facebook, which I came to despise. I never used it to find a date, honestly:lol: , but people I knew from high school had such skewed remakes of who they actually were on facebook that I got tired of it and deleted my profile. And then there were the people who I had met once in real life who would add me as their friend, because they wanted to have so many friends that they were obviously the 'coolest person ever'. I hated my view of people I didn't see regularly being skewed by who they were pretending to be. I guess as long as you look at myspace the right way, it can be fun, but I still swear it is the devil:evil: ...

and right on cue its ****ed again... well mines is anyway.

ps morbyd i left you a comment so you didnt feel all lonely in the lonely world of myspace
