I understand it is not for everyone, but I personally got my money's worth :)

I also traveled to some warm places this winter, this is not mutually exclusive.

i love the panoramic shots, im there in april for a few days and will be doing something similar.

strange question but what software do you use for your panoramic photos??:?:
 
I was using the free Hugin panorama stitcher.

When stitching sea views, it sometimes produces small "steps" on the horizon, these were overpainted later with Corel PhotoPaint (any other image editor will work too).

I was also playing around with the free demo of Autopano, it is much faster and has a better GUI, but I don't see any advantages in the panorama quality. If you are going to make lots of panoramas, maybe worth looking at.
