oh no - steve winwood + 'funky' filter house = large quattro fromage for me please.

it was absolutely amazing when I heard DJ Falcon play it two years ago, one of my all time favourite clubbing moments.

You can rip it to shreds all you want for being cheese-tastic and not underground enough (and baring in mind the Eric Prydz version WILL chart), but it will stay with me as a proper "moment".

If he played it fading in after looping the vocal of Blaze - Lovely Dae "It's a lovely day, and the sun is shining" (16 beats) (as I have heard him in 2 live sets, and once properly live) then I will agree, It was one of those moments for me too!

No doubt some Phd student will someday do a thesis on the meaning of "cheese" in dance music - if they haven't already. One man's cheese-tastic stinker is another's glory tune. The same record can be both to the same person at different times, depending on mood. On paper, the idea of Steve Winwood plus funky filter house does smell rather like a camembert that's been left out of the fridge for a week. But it puts a smile on the face during this sorry excuse for a British summer. And I've watched it put broad grins on every face in the crowd when played out.

Nothing wrong with pleasing the crowd sometimes. Beats a po-faced deep house noodle any day.

I hate nothing worse than over noodly boring music.

But that record is $hit IMO. Doesnt deserve to be mixed with Blaze - Lovely Dae.
