It has been quite a MySpace week, I must say. I've got 20 more friends than I did on Monday! :lol: I didn't know so many Spotlighters and other people I knew actually used this site. I even found my own brother's profile!

I used to think like that, sometimes it is a bit cringeworthy, but its the way the web has gone, i believe they call it web 2.0

Im all for meeting new people, and I've met and kept in touch with a lot of people this past year I probably wouldn't have otherwise, so web 2.0 is all good in my book, the mates I used to hang about with back in the day never moved from the same pub, or same rubbish nightclub, im sure a lot of people will understand what im on about, but through myspace i now know loads of people with similar interests, locally and further afield.

I find it brilliant for finding out about parties in Shoreditch...it's the only place these guys advertise so unless you're a hairdresser on dray walk there's no better way to find out about all the good stuff (as distinct from rubbish fashiony try hard stuff devoid of proper silliness).

9 times out of 10 you can get on concessions or guest lists through it too which is handy.

It's also great if you follow an obscure band and want to be first in line to get gig tickets.

Besides that it's just another social networking site to waste your life on talking bollocks to other like minded saddos with nothing better to do. :lol:

Noted, re: the music networking aspects. Suppose I'll need to find some use for that.

It is quite time consuming isn't it - how am I sposed to find time to do work between sending personal e-mails, checking Spotlight, checking pms and now checking My Space :spank:
