my opinion of what's happening

Karl ,
Makkinero is in the right there is laws the same that in your country and a part of that there is a reason for this laws.
Most of this laws about license are made to defend the rigths of people, the rigth of people that live next to discos, bars. For example when you ask for a license cafe concierto ( to be able to put music in a bar) one a the things they ask you is a soundproof equipment, the council will come and check before giving you the licenses, they will also advice you that you have to close this time, etc
They also look if you got exit doors, all sort of mesures of security to guarantee security and health and the rigth of people to be able to rest.

Things that basicly they ask all over Europe. This sort of things are asked in all civilizaded countries.
You really think our autorities not going to apply the laww just not to molest some of our visitors. Remember that when you go to a disco if there is a fire you would be happy if you find a couple of exit doors, the job of autorities is to take care of this sort of things.

love

Just one question - why aren't these numbers limit ever enforced in the 'superclubs'? I have been in Pacha, Amnesia & Space when it was packed crazy - couldn't move for 4 hours! it amazed me that that was allowed to happen, it so unsafe.

So it seems there could be some double standards here with police conveniently turning a blind eye in these cases (ie concienciously ignoring).

Could someone please translate that please???

hmmm, you need a perfect English mate?? :? I think the point was clear enough. How annoying!

Wasn't talkin about the composition of the sentences more the heaviness of the content.

Irony is just wasted on some people. Lighten up.............i hope my punctuation is acceptable to you. How annoying!

This is probably the most informed thread I've read on this subject & i've read alot of the hundreds of posts on the subject. Thank you Mikkak for giving an informed perspective on this issue.

From what you and others have said (in this thread) it gives me hope some of these magical places may be restored to their former glory when & if they obtain the correct licences. I hold out little hope for Bora Bora but DC10,Sa Tricha et al will hopefully rise from the ashes!
