I recently purchased a pair of these babies and how pissed off I was when i got home....
It all began when me and my DJing mate split up due to University etc etc. Together we own a lot of gear and some of this was Numark Axis 8s. These served us brilliantly and whilst im sure they are not as good as Pioneers they did the job and we couldnt afford pioneers at the time. Anyway, when we split up we did a deal and it worked out that he got the two Axis 8s. As I owned the Carry case for Numark cd players I thought it would be best to get the Axis 9s seeing as I had been very happy with the Axis 8s. The Axis 8s had MIDI input and outputs (and I know its cheating but sometimes it just makes life easier when doing crap pop at a 18th party!) this meant I could automatically beat match. When I looked at my new Axis 9s there is no MIDI inputs or outputs! I cant work this out, seeing as the Axis 9 is newer, 'supposedly better' etc, it seems worse than the Axis 8. Does anyone else own an Axis 9 and is able to use the auto-synch function? What would u suggest I do? I brought the stuff from Sapphires. Maybe il have to phone up my partner and get back together again
