I used to work in a maccy d's during my college days back in the late 80's. Back then it was something of a novelty. Interesting story here actually, every now and then we would be loaned to the drive thru in Fallowfield to work the late shift or the "close" as we knew itone of the more friendly staff there was this bloke guy called gerald , who later became "a guy called gerald" of "voodoo ray" fame and we often went back to his flat for a smoke and he would get his keyboards out and he would sit there playing all this what we thought was this crazy music!!
ahhh...I digress!!
That McD's was my pre-exam breakfast stop before getting the bus up to college back in the day (Barbie or Morbyd definition applicable).
I was early 90s though JJ so you prolly never spat in muffin as it were
I worked in Macdonald's during my last year at school/first year in college. I had a really good time there, it was actually a good laugh! Hard hours but I worked literally 5mins away from my house so I could work after school, weekends etc.
Things went especially downhill went I discovered raving/clubbing and would have to do a 10hr shift in Maccy D's after dancing off my trolley all night in Bagleys. Mmmm I just remember the smell of them fillet'o'fish lol![]()
I used to be able to go out all night then do a shift, sometimes coming in from a night out at 530 then starting work at 6 and not remember any of my shift til around lunchtime but I think I'm to old for that now and I just can't be arsed with it. I tend to only go out if I'm off the next day nowadays.![]()
8 blissfully happy & star less months spent at Bromborough drive thro.
Highlight being going in on a microdot after a night out.![]()
