Anyone else get back from the island and find themselves on the completely wrong sleep schedule? It's almost 5am and I have to get up by 9 8O

Hard to explain to co-workers that the fact that there's only a 2 hour time difference is not relevant! :lol: Partying all night for 7 days straight (and 8 of 11 days) means my schedule is totally backwards!
 
Hi, well I think is normal because you been going out most of the nigths and waking up quite late and now you have to go to sleep early and wake up early, so it's you need time to get into normality.
I live in mallorca and there is no time diference and I have the same problem.

I'm facing the fifth hard sleep night due the so hot temperatures and it looks like it will be like this for the next two or three months :? :? :?

You are lucky cos in two three days you are solved ;)

It is cos your body clock is completely funked, people used to laugh at me going back to work and say it's worse than suffering jetlag but I'm like you try going for 48 hours without sleep :lol:

Me and Tom take sleeping tablets on our first few nights back and it sorts you us out.
 
Ya, I try to stay away from sleep drugs but Irina takes them.

Obviously, the problem is changing from going to bed at 10-11 am Moscow time every day (for only 4-5 hours) to having to be up at 8:30 am Moscow time :lol:

You've got no excuse at work

you: oh, the jet lag
them: it's only 2 hours
you: but you don't understand. I had a different sleep schedule

you: but you don't understand, I was out getting wrecked every night and didn't go to sleep until morning and then my wife would wake before lunchtime to drag me to the beach
them: no sympathy for you

Feel free to kick me for being so ignorant and dumb, but is ibiza 2 hours ahead? I always thought it was only 1 hour??

It's 2 hours behind me. I'm in Moscow. It's one hour ahead of you.
