come on guys, it's gonna be a long summer if you ask after every cocoon, hyte or music on what time it closed. for the time being I personally can't see them closing much later than 06:30am or 7am at a push. maybe this will get a little more relaxed towards the second part of the season or for closings (if anything), but I really don't think it'll change much in the next few weeks.
 
I won't be heading to Amnesia on my trip so it won't affect me. Just curious if they carried on behaving after the 'all eyes on us' opening week had passed.
 
I'm wondering the same thing, only because I hope they actually do follow the rules so that rest of their season isn't in jeopardy

I'm going to resign from this forum if I see one more post asking about Amnesias closing times (probably won't to be fair). I was going back when Space opened all day and moving it to night time made no difference, people need to calm down and enjoy themselves
 
^^you gotta understand that some ppl based their trips around club events like the ones Amnesia puts on and it would totally suck if suck if the authorities shut it down. Like some of us have been waiting since last year to come back to this island, spending a lot of money and time.

The posts that complain about Amnesia not being open longer is something I can understand being annoying, but like I'm just asking about the times because again I hope Amnesia does stay actually within the limits, so it's not the same thing. I want them to shut down at 630 or 7! It's my fave place to party in the world and the biggest draw for me and others so it would suck if it closed down!

Listen, if it gets shut down then it gets shut down. The world won't end and the party will move to the next club and everyone will follow. Plenty of better clubs have shut down over the years and more people than ever are still doing it.

Next people will be fretting over DC10 permanently closing...........o_Oo_O Amnesia closing times is as tedious as this now

Mate- just go & enjoy your holiday.
Don't worry about stuff you can't control.
If amnesia gets shut down that's their fault for making a mess of things.
There are loads of clubs to enjoy other than Amnesia & remember , there's far more to Ibiza than just the clubbing side of things.

And I have to disagree in you in saying the party will just simply move to the next club. I don't think any other club can match Amnesia's atmosphere really and the Cocoonn night is part of Ibiza. Like what better clubs are there than Amnesia really? No one else can sub it so easily. You can try and act like it doesn't matter but you see how ppl are acting with Space closing (when it will most likely still be converted to another club next year) so you can guarantee if Amnesia shuts down it will make clubbing news everywhere, just like DC-10 did back in the day, as I remember Mixmag talking about it. Why is it that Space gets a pass and everyone can talk about it closing, and Amnesia perpetually breaking the rules and maybe being closed down doesn't? I get the circumstances are different but we're talking a top 5 club in the world.

You seem to forget what happened the last time Amnesia was shut down, I didn't see Cocoon take the season off and wait for it to re-open, it moved to the next club. I'm as nostalgic as the next person but the reality is that the euro note is all that matters.

Nobbie, the island was fine when DC10 closed, business as usual and the party simply moved elsewhere
