Music on

Nice lineups, i really like the additions of Marco Faraone and Sam Paganini (getting that usual Italian support). But the big surprise to me is no Capriati? Not really a fan myself but just find it strange he is missing, perhaps due to his new love affair with Jamie Jones or something else?
 
Looks like there are about 6 Apollonia appearances with a few all night longs! Could be tempted by that.
 
Denifitley a loss with regards to Capriati, never seen them play Music On before but do Apollonia really suit the style of the night?

I would say they fit quite well. Especially that they are playing the whole night most of their stops which gives them the range to really build the night. I saw them open for Marco in Miami on the Space terrace and they warmed the night perfectly.

MusicON usually a little too much on the Terrace, but could handle one of those Apollonia all night longs in the main room. Might help attract a more mixed crowd ;)

Fair enough, I suppose I just wish they had a residency elsewhere as I agree with the above about Music On being too full on (been once and won't go back)
 
Capriati posted this last night on twitter, soon after the Music On line-ups were released:

"If something changes in my career it is because I just followed my heart. Happiness is always in your hands!"

I would say it's a huge loss for Music On. Capriati made the club room his own last year. I was in the smoking area when he rolled-up for the Amnesia closing party with his entourage and the reception he got from the punters was god-like. His stock has risen last few years, and that's a huge achievement when you think Music On circa 2012/13 was almost exclusively about Carola & the terrace.

Should Carola have time off again - as he did for a few weeks in 2014 - they had a ready-made step-in in Capriati. Well, not anymore.

When you consider Music On will be the party most hurt if the authorities do decide to honour the new stricter opening hours, then this has to be considered another blow imho.

now that is one subtle hint #notgettingit :)

but with almost all of the lineups out it's gotta be paradise, right? that would also explain why carola hasn't invited jamie jones this year ..
