Music On

Completely different parties I know, but Music On coincides with our last night on the 20th June (with Liebing) vs Wisdom Of the Glove takeover at Pacha. Tough one, but would probably want to do a DC10/ Cocoon Monday so would WOTG be a better option?

I'm very biased, so I'd say WOTG, as I loved that night at Pacha last year. All depends what you want from your last night - Do you want quality underground music in an intimate environment with crazy gloves hanging off the ceiling and a overall trippy feel (go to Pacha), OR do you want a mass of 2,000 people on the Amnesia Terrace worshiping Marco Carola (Go to Music On)? As I am said I am VERY biased towards WOTG, but I do hope more people get over their Pacha problem, and give it a go on its monthly Friday slot.

well i attended both last summer, the clubbing scene the people the attitude is completely different.

carola's nights is more of a carola night.

WOTG is a very classical scene.

Yeah. End of the day if you are going to Music ON you're hitting it at 3-4AM you get in the middle of the Amnesia Terrace and don't move to 9AM. At WOTG you're going for a more relaxed chilled night listening to quality tech-house music, in good surroundings, with no Italians with their shirts off... Totally different nights....
 
i missed the opening party last week, but went to music on quickly last night (about 3:30am - 6am) and I was pleasantly surprised.

- it was perfectly busy on the terrace
- the main room finally starts working properly. in the first season it was always mostly empty and last year it was often really so-so, but I feel that this year it's going to be a proper room. it definitely was last night at least!
- really nice crowd mix in both rooms, no rowdiness at all
- good music from both carola on the terrace (even though never really anything with a proper 'wow' effect) and also pan pot in the main room (hinz & ruhmhardt - doch was a highlight).

Seen him at pressure and was the most boring set I've ever heard. Was so bland.
 
Any idea where the after party will take place now that Cova Santa has been shut?

Went last year at the last one at La Plage and it was great... didn't go yesterday to see him @ Amnesia but really would like to go to the after if there is one...

Will it be at some PDB beach bar?
 
i'm not sure there is one today, i doubt it. this year they've only done two afterparties so far, both of them at cova santa.
 
edit to the above - there might be one today, possibly even at the supposedly closed CS! haven't got any confirmation yet though

MUSIC ON 18TH JULY (tonight)
CARL COX 22ND JULY
MUSIC ON 25TH JULY
 
think i've asked this in this thread before, but still not sure, anyone know anything about whos on the lineup september 5th?
no other DJ listed in the terrace with Marco. Someone mentioned Ryan Crosson but is this 100% confirmed?
