Music On

Brilliant line-ups as always, and we've talked about this before - but no matter how many times I go, I still struggle to fall in love with this party! Maybe it's the crowd, or just what I like moving slightly away from Marco Carola. While I don't want to start a Cocoon Vs Music ON, the former is all about fun, colour, good times, happier crowd etc. The latter is more moody, dark, serious and sometimes less friendly crowd.

i think the nights reflect their leaders - Sven being how you have described Cocoon and Carola being how you have described Music On!

Yeah I noticed that too! He has about 4 dates Cocoon and 2 Music ON. Him and Adam Beyer are two of my favs in the Main Room when they are at the top of their game.

I have a hoot at both Cocoon & Music On! :D

Would say I lean towards Carola's sound as my preference, but no doubt that his crowds are moodier. Lots of chiselled Italians in trunks peacock-ing at the opposite sex!

Almost goes against the grain of what a techno night should be about!

Very strange to see that a lot of ppl like this marco carola and for me ( italian ) he's very boring since 2009
 
Anyone got an idea with what's going on September 5th? Doesn't stipulate carola is playing all night long yet no other dj is listed? Thanks
 
Still not been to music on.. It just doesn't attract me even though some of my friends play there. However I might go on aug 15th as pan pot are playing on the terrace.. However I'm hoping it's not just a warm up for carola hopefully they can go full out them let him carry on from there

that's the problem. it's always like a warm up for carola. mostly even the volume level is a bit lower before he starts playing.

Hit the main room that night!! Capriati and leibing will destroy it, and if you need a fairly groovy breather hit the terrace if/when they close the main room
