Music capitals

i think London, due to the sheer size of the place, will always be number 1 - there will be so much more going on there in a typical weekend then any other city because of its size.
Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester all very very strong scenes.

Ill give a mention to Birmingham, some great venues in and around Digbeth. LAB11, NextDoor, Rainbow etc. But yeah LDN, Manc, Bristol all great scenes.

Bristol has a great Deep \ Tech House scene and a thriving DnB scene, but it's lacking anything else (E.g. trance, hard dance music, etc)... although it does have a small undergroudn psy scene I guess.

East London's nightlife is currently being battered by Boris, property developers and councils, but it is STILL light years ahead of anywhere else in the UK for music. That's why rents in hackney have gone up 879% in 5 yrs

How has Fabric been btw with all the new rules they said they needed to enforce? Do they have the drug dogs yet?

New rules don't come in until after they have had the chance to appeal it all. Its been business as usual the times I've been since all the drama. You still get a pretty thorough search on the door of course, but in my opinion you always did anyway..
