At least two of our readers have been mugged in San Antonio in the last two weeks and one in Santa Eulalia. These have been rather nasty & brutal attacks, apparently the staggering figure of 27 people have been mugged in the San Antonio area in the last month alone. The two people we have been told about were allegedly both followed until they got to their destination before they were attacked and then they were hit with something on the back of the head so as not to be seen. In both the cases it happened in the early hours and money was the only thing taken. One of the victims was over 6 feet tall and an ex doorman, so it doesn't seem as if the attackers are worried about size at all. Please if you can walk in two's late at night even if it means being dragged out of a bar before you want to go. Be safe.
