Movies With Techno

Midnight Party

Hey buddys. I'm looking for movies that feature good trance, house, progressive, music. I know about Human Traffic and I dont want anything with weird electro (Matrix). Anyone know any? Thanks.:)

oakenfold wrote the soundtrack to a film a few years ago............called Swordfish, not seen the film but it was a bit of turkey i think.

not quite exactly what you're looking for i think but.........

54 (based on Studio 54) is a brilliant film with Mike Myers, Salma Hayek, Neve Campbell and an amazing disco soundtrack..........on the double CD soundtrack i've got, i've spotted at least 5 tracks so far that have been sampled for modern dance tracks.

24 Hour Party People..........Hacienda/Factory records history, not seen this though.

also......

Kevin & Perry Go Large In Ibiza - shocking film8O , soundtrack was advised by Pete Tong and is full of fluffy trancey numbers.

Such a good film, altho I wouldn't say it's techno cos mainly is the 80's sound (can we call techno to the 80's sound?)

its more acidy, i love 24hr party people but apparently a lot of it is fiction. i think human traffic is possibly the only film i've seen about clubbing that I actually enjoyed.

I quite enjoyed "Go!"... I guess it's not really ABOUT clubbing but it's central to the plot. Friggin' hilarious.

I was really disappointed with Human Traffic

some of the dialogue was pretty poor I'll admit. ie. the scene where the birds are getting ready is cringeworthy, as is the "new national anthem". Great film though. 98 I believe?

I think it's too brit for me, too local. There's a very good film called Historias del Kronen about clubbing and drugs but nobody from here would like it or apreciate it as I do cos it's too spanish to get the whole thing. ;)

fulll of cheese, but anyone remember that movie "groove" ?

all about how digweed comes to save the day at some candy-rave warehouse in san fransisco

That's probably why. ;)

The film was a parody of itself - full of British-based cliches.

Funny if you've been in a similar situation - which most of us have over here. 8O

I still know blokes like Moff from Human Traffic

'City of industry' (with Harvey Keitel) had an amazing soundtrack of breaks, dnb and trip-hop - i.e. tricky, massive attack, photek etc.

Pi is all full-on dnb

Lawler remixed the theme tune to that skeleton key movie with goldie hawnes daughter innit.

Hybrid did music for both Domino and Man on fire (both Tony Scott films)

Oh yeah - The Saint remake starring Val Kilmer had a great sountrack feat. Orbital, Moby, Chemical Brothers etc

The Beach had a great soundtrack too feat. Orbital & Moby once again, as well as Marky Kante
